This is the worst customer service I have seen in a long time, possibly ever. They are dishonest and unresponsive. No one answers chat features, no one answers the phone, and their responses over email are slow, unhelpful, dishonest, and vague. It appears impossible to leave a review on their own website, which makes me think that all of the good reviews are falsely generated.
The website says that they will send a label for exchanges, but they have not done so and have given me the runaround about that for nearly a month now. I have disputed the charge on my credit card because it has been such a horrible experience and I am done dealing with them.
I warn people about this company I spent $102 on three items it's been over a month and I have not received these items and they refuse to answer my emails. There is no telephone number to contact this company so you're basically out of luck. I've been sending emails to him almost every other day and yet they don't return anything in response.

They use the same 1.5" belly strap and almost 2" buckle in the x-small as they do in the x-large. As you can see from the photos, they cut into my small dogs armpits making it very uncomfortable to walk. They end up stopping and sitting down until I adjust it, but it just creeps back up. As others have said, the strap loosens which makes it hard to keep the harness in place once I move it down. But, here's the really bad part. I purchased from Joyride and they are charging me $7.95 shipping AND a restocking fee! Complete and total rip off for a product that has to fit to be functional.
I ordered my harness on the 20th of the month and paid for priority shipping on the 26 th they EMAIL the Due to the pandemic excuse shipping will take 7-10 days longer. We are over a year into the PANDEMIC. And they won't cancel the order. Stupid reason " Due to different lines of communication and hours of operation, we cannot intercept a recently placed order to modify or cancel it before shipment. Our orders do begin processing immediately once received which includes packing and awaiting dispatch, so requested changes cannot be submitted or honored at this time. ".
Expensive non working harness. I have a German Shepard and she slipped out several times because the harness loosened. The plastic part of the buckle broke. The "no pulling" doesn't work at all, she could care less. The hook for that should be in the front.
Waste of money!
This company is a SCAM
I have been dealing with this company for 2mths now. I have received multiple emails stating they have a delay on my order. I then received an email stating I hope I enjoyed the product I received- I wrote them and explained I couldn't enjoy something I hadn't received. They then proceeded to write me another two emails stating it was still in transit but should be receiving it soon. They even dared to attach a USPS tracking number- are you surprised there was no found information with that tracking number. I wrote them twice now telling them that they truly have scammed me of my money that I work hard for, which lets be real, we all do, especially in the times of a pandemic.
I am extremely disappointed and disturbed by how this company has dealt with its customer service and distribution of product.
It took quite some time for my order to arrive. When it did arrive the ID tag engraved with my pets information that was supposed to be included was not. After contacting Joyride by email it took 5 days to get a response.
The response told me to take a picture of everything I receive to help them try to determine how to correct my problem. Essentially they're assuming we are all liars trying to get free tags. If someone was trying to steal something they very simply remove the tag from the items before taking the picture.
Are used to think this is a great product with the company is slow to respond and not very customer oriented. There are other harnesses out there and that's where I am looking now to find an alternative to Joyride products.
Joyride harness is well made
But stiff and non flexible. The blue is pretty. Customer service a fail.
I placed an order and they offered second harness at a discount. I clicked on offer to see what the total would be and they placed the order without confirming. I tried calling but their number for customer service will not allow you to talk to someone. It refers you to chat. I went to chat within minutes of my order that the chat rep said it is "too late" to change the order within 5 minutes of having placed it. This is crazy. I just ordered it 5 minutes earlier. AVOID THIS COMPANY! They are not reputable and now I will be forced to dispute a charge on my card.
Slowest shipping ever. Never again. This place sucks. This place sucks... this place sucks... sucks
Bought 3 all for Border Collies. The buckle although looking secure it is not. I made sure the buckle was secure with no hair caught. I heard the click and I gave it a tug without apparent problems. While walking all 3 came apart and fortunate for me and my dogs I was paying attention. I now use their collars again. Purchased these harnesses back when it was Pug Life. I attend obedience and for years agility. So my dogs are trained.
If your dog is a hard puller, this harness will NOT work. My dog is medium size and has always been a hard puller and we have tried a few options to help with this. I was hoping the joyride harness would work as they promote it working with medium and large dogs but it did not work at all. It is no different than a regular harness. It seems to work for someone I know who has a small dog that slightly pulls so perhaps they should change their wording and advertise it working for dogs that SLIGHTLY pull. Also, in order to return, you have to remove all the dog hair, preferrably keep tags on, and they charge you to return it.
I purchased a Joyride harness for my friends' (who live across the country) dog. To determine the size he would need, I used the size chart provided on Joyride's website. Despite ordering what should have been the correct size, the harness he received (size M) was strangely enormous. My friends decided they couldn't make it work and wanted to exchange it for a smaller size. I contacted Joyride by email to notify them of the exchange and they very speedily sent me a prepaid postage label by email to send to them. So I requested an exchange for the same harness one size down (size S), my friends returned the size M harness and then we waited and waited. At the three week mark, I wrote to Joyride to inquire about the exchange. They apologized and said they didn't know why it was taking so long. Another week later, my friends received their new harness, which, this time, is so small they can't even get it over the dog's head. I write to Joyride again explaining the situation and that I would like to this time request a refund since their sizing didn't seem to work for them. It was then that they told me they'd be unable to send me a prepaid postage label and that my friends (the people who were supposed to be getting a gift out of all of this) would have to pay out of pocket to return the item. I wrote again asking them to please consider a prepaid label that they could deduct from my refund amount, just to not have to put my friends in the awkward position of paying to return their own gift, but they rejected the request, saying it was "against policy for second returns." This is mostly a story about refunds being difficult but there's another moral in here about also paying attention to their strange sizing conventions, an issue that seems innocuous enough until you find yourself in the position to need to process a return. I will be all too happy to patronize business that are interested in helping their customers find the proper item, rather than those who try to stiff them with those that don't work after a single return.
I placed an order at the end of January 2021, and am still waiting for it. They sent an email 8 days after I placed my order stating it was shipped, and 20 days after that email I still haven't received my package. After calling the post office I was told they are waiting for the package to be dropped off, so they can deliver it. I have sent an email to *******@joyrideharness but have not received a response as of yet.

It's beginning to look like a pure scam. "Chat" style customer service with canned replies, no ability to cancel an order. The customer service cant reach the shipping or any other person, they promise to call you in 48 hours and you don't hear from them. Then when you contact again you get more run around. I imagine most people just give up trying to get their products and then they keep the money. Complete scam.

No. No. And did I say no? All they have is a chat box where all you get is the run around from someone who is feeding you a line of pure BS. "Oh we're so sorry." and all the other pat excuses to just wear you out until you give up any hope of ever receiving your order. I paid by debit card so that money is gone. I hope they choke on it.

Literally impossible no phone number. Email is the only way and they don't respond to those either.
